Classics for Kids

For many years Howland Chamber Music Circle and co-presenter Howland Cultural Center have delighted young audiences with engaging and interactive concerts tailored specifically for them. Music lovers of all ages can enjoy the popular Instrument Petting Zoo, our outdoor walking concerts, and collaborative concert programs intended to entertain and educate.

Education Outreach

Since 2004 HCMC has inspired learning through educational concerts and music residency programs for local school districts. Whether it’s a brass quintet performing for an entire school, side-by-side concerts with musician residents, or clinics offered to band and orchestra students, HCMC is devoted to empowering kids through music.

Pop Up Concerts

HCMC connects people through music with its free community concert series, presented in spaces throughout the city of Beacon. Often in collaboration with local shops, galleries, studios, churches, and parks around the city, these events are open to visitors and locals alike.
